When the United States military approached Olympic EDM & Waterjet Inc. about using its waterjet expertise to cut out a copper channel for a military application, we knew we had the right tools and human ingenuity to complete the job meticulously and time-efficiently.

Using a Mitsubishi precision waterjet, we applied its high-psi capabilities to cut the 4’ x 8’ sheets of copper supplied to us. Soon enough, we’d begun cutting them to overall part specifications of 1/16” in thickness, 4” in length, and 4” in width. Such was our accuracy that we achieved tightest tolerances of ±.005”. After the one month’s stipulated time to complete the assignment, we finished the 200 copper channels required by the military.
